Disposable Painless Silicone Catheter (Catheter Kit)

[Product introduction]
Painless silicone foley catheter (commonly known as “sustained release silicone catheter”, referred to as painless catheter) is a patented product developed by Kangyuan with independent intellectual property rights (patent number: 201320058216.4). While catheterization, the product acts on the patient’s urethral mucosa through the automatic sustained-release drug delivery system (or manual injection) through the liquid outlet of the injection cavity, thereby eliminating or relieving the pain during catheterization. Sensation, discomfort, foreign body sensation.

[Scope of application]
Kangyuan Painless Foley Catheter is suitable for clinically used for slow-release injection analgesia for patients to connect with the drug delivery port of the catheter through the component infusion device while catheterizing.

[Product composition]
Kangyuan Painless Foley Catheter is composed of a disposable sterile catheter, a catheter and a disposable infusion device.
Among them: the necessary accessories of the three-lumen painless foley catheter are composed of 3-way silicone foley catheter, catheter (including connector), infusion device (including reservoir bag and shell), and optional accessories include clips (or hanging straps) , housing, filter, protective cap, stop clip.
4-way painless urinary catheter must be connected by 4-way silicone foley catheter, catheter (including connector), infusion device (including reservoir bag and shell), and optional accessories include clip (or lanyard), shell, Filters, protective caps, stop clips, plug caps.

Painless catheters can be configured with painless catheterization kits, the basic configuration is: painless foley catheters, pretreatment tubes, catheter clips, syringes, rubber gloves, plastic tweezers, urine cups, iodophor cotton balls, medical sand cloths , hole towel, pad towel, outer cloth, lubricating cotton ball, drainage bag, treatment plate.

[Features]
1. Made of 100% pure medical silicone material to ensure biological safety during indwelling catheterization.
2. It is specially used for sustained-release injection analgesia during indwelling catheterization to eliminate the pain and discomfort of patients.
3. It is very suitable for medium and long-term indwelling of human body (≤ 29 days).
4. The improved design of the flushing cavity position is more convenient for the flushing of the bladder and urethra.
5. Balanced and symmetrical balloon to reduce the occurrence of side leakage.
6. Valves with color codes can effectively avoid the confusion of specifications.
7. It is composed of two major components, a urinary catheter and an infusion device. The component foley catheter can be used independently to implement indwelling catheterization. When analgesic catheterization is required, the foley catheter is connected to the infusion device through the component connector. To achieve continuous quantitative dosing to achieve analgesic effect.
8. The capacity of the drug capsule is 50mL or 100mL, and 2mL is continuously supplied every hour.
9. The drug bag of the infusion device is equipped with a strap (or clip) and a shell, which is convenient for positioning and hanging and effectively protects the drug bag.
10. The full length of the catheter ≥405mm

[Instructions]
1. Medical staff should formulate the drug formulation according to the clinical analgesic needs of the patient (see the instruction manual for the formulation of analgesic drugs), and prepare the dose of the drug solution according to the nominal volume of the capsule and the nominal flow rate of the infusion. Medical staff should formulate and use the drug formula correctly according to the actual condition of the patient.
2. Unscrew the protective cap on the dosing port and the connecting head, and inject the prepared analgesic liquid from the dosing port into the liquid storage bag (medicine bag) with a syringe. The stop clip (if any) remains open. Fill the tubing with liquid medicine to remove air from the reservoir (sac) and catheter. After the dosing is completed, cover the protective cap on the connector and wait for use.
3. Insertion: Lubricate the front and back of the catheter with a medical lubricating cotton ball, carefully insert the catheter into the urethra to the bladder (urine is discharged at this time), and then insert it 3~6cm to make the water bladder ( balloon) completely into the bladder.
4. Water injection: Hold the catheter to inflate the valve sleeve on the interface, insert the water injection valve forcefully with a syringe without a needle, inject sterile water (such as water for injection) not larger than the nominal rated amount, and then put the catheter into the water injection valve. Gently pull outside to make the inflated water bladder (balloon) stuck to the bladder.
5. Infusion: When the patient needs to perform catheterization and analgesia treatment, just connect the connector of the infusion device to the drug injection valve of the catheter, and implement the analgesic treatment during the catheterization indwelling process. After the treatment is over, disconnect the connection head from the injection valve.
6. Indwelling: The indwelling time depends on clinical needs and nursing requirements, but the longest indwelling time shall not exceed 29 days.
7. Take out: When taking out the catheter, insert an empty syringe without a needle into the valve, and suck the sterile water in the balloon. When the volume of water in the syringe is close to the volume at the time of injection, the catheter can be slowly pulled out. The body of the lumen head tube can also be cut off to allow the catheter to be removed after rapid drainage.
